Welcome

The mission of the Washburn Police Department is to enhance
the quality of life in the City of Washburn,
by working with the community to enforce the law, preserve the peace,
reduce the fear of crime and provide for a safe environment.


Basic functions of the department

The primary function of the police department is to maintain safety, peace,
and order in the community through detection and apprehension of criminals,
and to assure compliance with state laws
and city ordinances by educating the public.
